Thanks to Mags today for my first ‘barber/male grooming’ visit in 10 years. Will definately be back when my hair has grown some more – great service as a new client, well chuffed. Thank you all
What can i say but wow. The whole experience was exceptional. From entering the shop and being greeted in a friendly and welcoming way, to being sat down with complimentary refreshments. I had a hot towel shave and was given 1 to 1 service for well over an hour. The treatment was amazing, it left me relaxed to the point where i almost lost the power of speech and at no point was my visit rushed. The shave was excellent and repeated twice to ensure nothing was missed. My skin was treated with balms and moisturisers leaving feeling like it has never felt before, this was not lost on my wife either. After the treatment i was given a complimentary beer and invited to remain and watch the football while my friend was treated. I am just gutted i live up north, the valet would most definitely be a regular treat for me.
Been coming to the Valet for around a year now, had fantastic haircuts and experience every time with various members of the team. All come highly recommended!
Have been to the Valet a number of times now and can’t recommend it highly enough. Haircut and hot towel shaves by Hadi are superb. After one visit I decided to buy a full shaving kit but also booked in a shaving lesson with Dave. Excellent lesson with Dave advising on all the areas that I was not being effective in from the pre-shave to the final touches. Anyone who is thinking of switching to the traditional wet shave I would highly recommend a lesson with Dave.
After Movember I knew I had to start shaving properly. The Valet, with a lesson in using my new tools set me up perfectly. I look forward to this and (12 hours later) as I stoke my chin, know that I am going to enjoy it
I think the ‘father/son’ experience on a Sunday would be a winner too.

As a newcomer to the world of DE shaving I was doing loads of research and came across The Valet web site. After studying their excellent web site I called them. Spoke to David, and his knowledge and help over the telephone were great. I am know the proud owner of a Merkur Vision razor ( Which is an amazing razor and brilliant shave shave) The service I have recieved from them is excellent and cannot praise them enough. I will definately be paying a visit to The valet and looking forward to their excellence in the shop and meeting what sounds like a great crew. Many thanks once again.

On Sunday 07th Oct I came in for a hot towel shave, haircut and finally eyebrow waxing. The hot towel shave experience was booked for me by a friend as a birthday gift, something I have always wanted to experience.
I just wanted to write and say what a fantastic experience I had at ‘The Valet’. From the very personal welcome when I arrived (also on the telephone when I phoned to set the appointment), the extremely personal, attentive and expert hands of Hadi who worked his magic on me, Lucy (I think that was her name) who sorted my eyebrows out, the young lady who served me a delicious cup of tea, and in fact the general warmth and friendliness of all the staff all way exceeded my expectations.
I am delighted to report that I have not had a single negative comment from any family or friends on my appearance since my visit and in fact had one comment that said that it is indeed possible to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear!!
I will most certainly be returning and very much look forward to my next visit.

Hard to find words to describe the experience I’ve had. They treated me like their baby and took ultra care on how my hair needs to be styled.
Thanks to David and Sam for giving such a royal treatment. My hair will grow back just for you guys…:P

After stumbling across this place on youtube.com, I told myself that if I ever came to England, I would have to make it a point to come to The Valet. The barbers are very professional and the place has a vibe that makes a man feel comfortable. I love that they use Proraso for the wet shaves. Definitely a 10 out of 10 place.
I wish they had a location in Chicago.

In the PAST, i had always had trouble finding a barber who would actually give a good hair cut. Many times i have been left with a ‘skull cap’/'bowl cut’. Which caused me to head to Bromely to get it cut by a hairdresser.
Having come accross The Valet from google, i decided to give it a shot.
First barber from The Valet, was Tony. From the moment i sat down in the chair, i had a great feeling about The Valet. I couldnt believe how far you guys go to be the best! From the Tape around neck to prevent hair falling down your shirt, to the ‘perfume’ (what ever it is, smells great!) and razor finish. fantastic hair cut, got me hooked!!
Second barber was Richardo. Again, gobsmacked how good the hair cut looks. I would have happily paid at least 2 times the amount you guys charged. The attention to detail was amazing. I can confidentally say this has to be one of the best haircuts i have had.
I have told all my friends and family, and will continue to spread the word. Keep up the great work.

I’ve just returned home after my first visit to the valet. An outstanding experience. The CUSTOMER IS KING in this establishment. A relaxing, professionally applied service. A quality haircut, an amazing hot towel shave, supplemented with professional advice on how to look after yourself!
All men should take the time to visit the place, I’d be surprised if you decide not to go back. For me, I’m a convert, I’ll be a regular from now on, as I don’t think I could go back to a “regular” barbers!

So sorry for the late comment. It was one of my best experience in the valet. Love the way the shop is furnished and the environment. I was bit worried but Halen helped me smartly to give me a hair style that i was actually looking for. I found She was doing it very professionally, in one word she was amazing. Honestly that was my best hair cut experience. Price was very reasonable compare to any high street shop. Love it. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to wish you all good luck at the London awards tomorrow.
I can honestly say that I have seldom experienced such high levels of customer services and personal attention in any establishment. If all businesses in London operated with the same customer focus, the world would be a better place.
Your computerised systems enable you to know what I, the client have previously enjoyed, such a simple thing as being addressed by name goes a long way both on the phone and in person, and the complimentary coffee/beer on entry is a simply delightful and welcome touch. You make your customers feel like ‘part of the family’, and in a way, we are.
I have had cuts by all of your barbers now, all of which have been of the very highest standard. I was also treated by a friend to the Valet top-end cut and shave treatment, which was an hour and a half of pure indulgence, whilst also being educational in all things shaving related.
I know you are always open for comments on ways to improve, but in all honesty, I can’t think of any.
Good work, keep it up, and I wish you all continued success and expansion.

Having rcently been to your parlour, (and I can only describe it as such . . a TRUE gentleman’s parlour. . .) prior to attending a wedding I felt I must make a comment or two.
What an absolute delight and a genuine pleasure it was to have been immersed in such exquisite luxury and pampering, at the hands of a fantastically professional team. From the ladies who dealt with my initial enquiry, to the detailed description from George whilst he prepared my skin for what I can HONESTLY say is the best wet shave I have ever had in my life, anywhere in the world.. . .the service and 110% attention given to the customer is certainly impossible to find anywhere else in the UK, and extremely difficult to imitate anywhere else. Thank you, I will be back and in the interim, will be RAVING about your establishment. THANK YOU!!!!
