Standard Delivery

Orders are sent by 1st class Royal Mail which aim to deliver the next day, although we do ask customers to allow 5 working days for delivery in case of delay. If there should be a problem with your order then we will inform you by email. Deliveries may require a signature so if possible please give a delivery address where the order can be signed for during working hours.

Special Delivery

We offer a next working delivery service within the UK only for £5.95 irrespective of the total order value. Only orders placed before 3pm will be guaranteed for delivery on the next working day. Note orders placed in time on Friday’s will more than likely be delivered on Monday although delivery may be attempted on the Saturday morning (this is at the discretion of Royal Mail or any courier that we may use). Orders placed over a weekend will be processed and dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Bank Holidays and strikes will cause a delay (for whatever their duration) and should not be considered working days.

These timings assume that the item(s) you order are in stock, which they should be if displayed on our website. However, sometimes stock discrepancies occur and an item may be accidentally on display but unavailable. If this should be the case then we will inform you by email as soon as we find out (and we will of course refund you the next day delivery surcharge unless you chose an alternative item in time for us to substitute it and still dispatch that day) for peace of mind we highly recommend you contact us to check if an item is in stock.

Note: You are not ordering through our e-commerce site (which is currently under development) so there is no shopping cart currently available. Therefore all orders will be taken over the telephone or an email request can be sent to us with your contact details and a member of our sales team will call you back to confirm your order request. All orders taken over the telephone will require a credit / debit card where the total order amount, together with delivery charges, will be debited from the card. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, or over the Internet.

We will require the following card information for telephone orders;

  1. Your 20 digit card number – the long number across the card
  2. A valid from date
  3. An expiry date
  4. The 1st character and number of your post code
  5. The 3 or 4 digit security code on the back strip of your card

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using our streamline machine. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any file other than on our customer copy receipt.

Security Code?

The card security code is a unique three or four-digit number printed on the back of your debit/credit card. This number is not embossed on the card and hence not printed on receipts – making it difficult for anyone, other than the genuine cardholder, to know it. Some card issuers refer to this number as the ‘Card Security Code’ or ‘personal security code’ or ‘Card Verification Value’.

CVC Code

Some cards have a three-digit number printed at the top of the signature strip on the reverse of the card.

CVC Code

Others, like America Express Express cards, have a four-digit number printed on the front of the card, above the account no.
