Welcome to the South London Business Awards

The Valet Male Grooming is entering several categories of the South London Business Awards this year.

Having won Croydon’s 2011 Best New Business Award and being highly commended for Best Small Business, as well as reaching the South London Business Awards finals, we are hoping to collect a few more trophies to show in the trophy cabinet this year!

Best barbers in South London?

One category in particular this year that we would like to perform well in is South London’s Favourite Business, which is voted for by the public. That’s right – you as a customer can vote for us as your favourite business. It’s a very simple process and takes a few seconds to do, but will count as a vote for The Valet.

How do I vote? Text AWARDS2 to 60777

If you really do think we deserve the peoples award and you, as the customer, are happy with the service and the business we provide, then simply send a text AWARDS2 on your mobile phone to 60777 and this will count as a vote for us. Text messages are charged at £1.50, a small token from you, the customer, to let us know that you really do value what we do here at the Valet. This award really does mean a lot to us, so your vote will be very much appreciated!

What are The South London Business Awards?

South London Business Awards 2012, in association with HSBC, has been developed by South London Business in order to reward and celebrate the many dynamic and innovative businesses in the South London.

Peter Pledger, Chief Executive, South London Business said: “These high class awards mean a lot to businesses because they shine a spotlight on the best companies in South London. And now more than ever do businesses and their employees need a boost to lift them out of the daily news of economic doom and gloom. Because it’s not all bad news, there are some great companies out there doing fantastic work – and bucking the economic trend. Let’s celebrate their successes.”

Carol Bagnald, HSBC, Regional Commercial Director for London, said: “The current challenging climate provides an even greater need to review your business and by taking the decision to enter these prestigious awards you will start to look at what is going well and what you need to focus on. This can only be a good thing.  These awards are very important to HSBC as we are keen to align and support businesses that are ambitious, have an eye on the future and show the potential to succeed. In south London there are many such businesses and this will bring some of them, deservedly, to the front of the stage.”
